Soul Shard Farm Guide

 

 

 

    Soul Shards are the in-game currency and are used to buy the Iron Sword, Plate Armor, Magic Armor, Fire Trinket, and Potions, as well as to earn the Achievement "Filthy Rich" which grants you 30 IOS Game Center Points or 3000 Google Play Games EXP when you have 999 soul shards.

 

 

    While you can obtain Soul Shards by defeating enemies, cutting grass, and smashing pots while playing the game normally, there are three methods of earning Soul Shards that are quicker.

 

Method #1: Find Treasure Chests

    Finding Treasure Chests is a great way to earn Soul Shaeds and will get you a boatload of Experience to boot. For the location of each Treasure Chest, check out my Treasure Chest Guide by clicking the link on the menu bar to the left of the screen.

 

Method #2: High-Value Respawning Soul Shard

    There is a high-value Soul Shard you can collect that respawns whenever you leave the area. HOWEVER, IN SOME VERSIONS OF THE GAME, IT WILL NOT RESPAWN, RENDERING THIS METHOD NULL AND VOID. The Shard is in map area 33 and is behind a barrier that you can destroy with a Magic Bomb. I have destroyed it in the screenshot below:

 

 

    The Shard is on the only solid platform, but won't respawn in my game.

 

Method #3: Monster Farm

    There is a place in map area 53 where unlimited Fire Bats will spawn for you to slaughter. They sometimes drop shards.
